@sy...Hi guys, thankyou for all your great comments.
@sykeblue, @Nikki thats great news about the loaf, I bought one yesterday so it's nice to know its a good 'un! just a shame its so small, but i can live with that if its got a great taste!
@lizzy,@barrijayne I've seen the warbutons advertised a few times but i cant seem to find it either, although someone told me sainsburys stock it. I've tried the chicken pesto sandwich from starbucks,i was actually planning on doing it for my next review!haha!
@lizzy, the price of some of the products is astronomical, i was in the same boat at uni as you are now, its such a big chunk of money out of your weekly shop when your buying g/f, its really unfair, especially if you think that most students pay next to nothing for a massive loaf of bread!
If i can get my hands on some g/f warbutons products i'll do a review of them, very excited about the tea cakes!
thanks again for all your feedback, its great to hear everyones experiences and tips for being gluten-free :) xThe Katie-Boo Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04212438007872139599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-402185684107550479.post-2806498903602775342011-02-06T21:38:55.524+00:002011-02-06T21:38:55.524+00:00Im really glad to see your review...Ive recently t...Im really glad to see your review...Ive recently tried the new sainsburys bread and it is amazing! Totally trumps genius and for me that was brilliant. Cant wait to try these rolls and will be getting some on tuesday hopefully!
Thank you for the review!Nikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14899754295394864786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-402185684107550479.post-44391639587986651372011-02-06T15:49:53.787+00:002011-02-06T15:49:53.787+00:00im generally disappointed with most bread availabl...im generally disappointed with most bread available to try in the supermarkets for people on a gluten free diet. I've found Genius bread is the best one so far compared to anything i've tried on or off prescription. It still annoys me SO MUCH as the price of these products though. I'm a student and really cannot afford buying these GF products at such ridiculous prices.. grr!

Also.. Warbutons have released GF bread i found out yesterday! SO EXCITED! http://www.glutenandwheatfree.co.uk/

xxLizzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06708611268875988762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-402185684107550479.post-39948431840789150992011-02-06T15:09:54.933+00:002011-02-06T15:09:54.933+00:00ooh, glad to know that these are yummy too! i boug...ooh, glad to know that these are yummy too! i bought the teeny weeny white loaf yesterday, and it is amaze!! i agree with you about its size, but in every other aspect it's great- didn't fall apart when i buttered it, sliced well and actually had the texture of bread. yay for sainsburys :)
thanks for the tip about the magazine too, i'd never thought to look xxskyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10652526510878765687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-402185684107550479.post-91048004643588902602011-02-06T14:13:53.653+00:002011-02-06T14:13:53.653+00:00I am usually disappointed when trying out some glu...I am usually disappointed when trying out some gluten free breads. Usually I would have to toast them first. I find the 'genius loaf' quite tasty. Starbucks do a chicken pesto sanwich using the 'genius' loaf. Warburtons have a new range out, but I can't seem to track it down yet. Hats off to Sainsburys for offering a decent range. The cheese and tomato pizza is quite nice and you can add your own toppings to it. Will look out for the multigrain rolls.Barri-Jaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13273020647763581573noreply@blogger.com
