My name is Kate and I'm a 20 something (that old chestnut again) freelance (read: out of work) writer from the South East.
A Girls Guide to Gluten-Free Baking is a recipe blog written by me (The Katie-Boo Baker).
I started writing 'A Girls Guide..' in June 2010, when too much time on my hands, plus a physcological need to make cupcakes spawned this rambling recipe blog.
I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease in 2005 and this blog chronicles some of my experiences of living with Coeliac's, eating gluten-free and all the various ball aches and blessings associated with the illness and its attendant diet.
Despite an impassioned plea to The General Medical Council, watching hours of House and Grey's Anatomy does not a Doctor make me, so unfortunately I can't answer any medical questions. Much as I'd like to.
Get in touch if you have any questions, comments or your own recipes or tips you'd like me to feature on the blog.
Additionally if you have another allergies or intolerance's as well as being unable to eat gluten don't hesitate to email me if you would like any of the recipes featured adapted to cater to you.

However if you'd ever just like a chat (I'm not quite as mental as I'm perhaps portraying) here's where you can find me.
